Chocolate shoes! Your eyes are not deceiving you. Some brilliant French Chocolatier has managed to combine two of my biggest pleasures in life. Chocolate and shoes!
Just last month, my wonderful husband Rob, took me to Paris to celebrate our 30-year wedding anniversary. (After all these years, I am still blessed to have a life-partner who never forgets to romance me!)
Like many tourists, we pretty much ate our way through Paris, but truth be told, I saved my appetite for my frequent trips in the famous French confiseries (French word for candy stores) throughout Paris. I make it a point to go to as many quaint candy shops wherever I go – always looking for ideas to bring home to Lola’s Sugar Rush. So let me just say that nearly all of the candy stores in France are exquisite. Like me, the French take their chocolate, candy and pastries very seriously!
Just when I thought I’d seen it all, I came across a gorgeous window display at Jean Paul Hevin’s which showcased a perfectly crafted chocolate ladies stiletto.

Edible Jimmy Choos! It even looked like my size! It was actually a size 35 European which is about a 4 ½ t-5 U.S. but I know I could have made it fit.
I had hoped to bring one home as a fun display for the shop. They only make a few each week. Unfortunately, they were molding the next batch the day of my departure. C’est la vie!
P.S. Strange but true, they only make a right shoe.

Be sure to catch my next blog to find out what people from around the world are lining-up to buy in France!

Sweetly yours,
Lola

That is the most gorgeous thing I’ve ever seen!
Thank you Susan! Stay Sweet!
Hiya, I’m really glad I have found this information. Today bloggers publish only about gossip and internet stuff and this is actually frustrating. A good site with exciting content, this is what I need. Thanks for making this web site, and I’ll be visiting again. Do you do newsletters? I Cant find it.

Awesome read. I just passed this onto a colleague who was doing a little research on that. He just bought me lunch because I found it for him! Thus let me rephrase: Thanks for lunch!
